Congratulations to both             Officer Tiffany Adams and Sergeant James Bradley on their lifesaving awards. 


Police Officer Tiffany L. Adams
On 25 September 2015, while assigned as a day shift patrol officer for the Siloam Springs Police Department, Officer Tiffany L. Adams was dispatched to an emergency call of a choking victim.

Dispatch advised responding officers, the caller was "losing" the patient. Upon her arrival, Officer Adams encountered a female who due to other medical conditions, was confined to a medical chair, was not breathing and had begun turning blue. Unable to successfully perform the Heimlich maneuver due to the victims other medical conditions, Officer Adams immediately removed the victim from the chair, placed her on the floor and began administering CPR. During the course of administering CPR by Officer Adams, the blockage was cleared from the victim's airway and the victim resumed breathing on her own.

Officer Adams quick thinking, calm and decisive action saved the life of the victim and was in keeping with the highest standards of professional service and reflect greatly upon herself, the Siloam Springs Police Department and the City of Siloam Springs.

Sergeant James A. Bradley

On July 21, 2014, while assigned as the night shift supervisor for the Siloam Springs Police Department, Sgt. Bradley was notified of emergency medical call where the victim was suffering a heart attack and CPR was in progress. While the location of the call was outside the city limits, recognizing the emergency and that he could arrive on scene several minutes before medical responders, Sgt. Bradley made the decision to respond.

Upon arriving on the scene, Sgt. Bradley observed the wife of the victim performing CPR on her husband who had no pulse and was not breathing. Sgt. Bradley assessed the victim and immediately took over the administration of CPR until relieved by medical personnel. Sgt. Bradley's decisive decision, initiative and accurate assessment of the event directly contributed to saving the life of the victim and is in keeping with the highest standards of professional service and reflect greatly upon himself, the Siloam Springs Police Department and the City of Siloam Springs.
