quarterly report

City Administrator Phillip Patterson reported to the Board of Directors on 4/19/2016. We are pleased to report increased in aviation fuel sales, increased city sales tax revenue and increased fuel farm savings.

Aviation Fuel Sales Increase:
Fuel Sales have more than doubled in the first quarter of 2016 as compared to this same time frame last year. Specific numbers are 35,918 gallons in 2016 versus 15,968 gallons in 2015.

Vehicle Fuel Farm Savings:
Year-end savings in 2015 from the City’s internal fuel farm were a net total of $38,195. The fuel farm came online in the second half of 2013. Savings for the first quarter in 2016 amount to $6,142 with a total savings to the City since the beginning of the fuel farm of over $87,000.

Sales Tax Revenue Increase: 
City sales tax receipts are up 4.6% from this time last year. $1.620M in 2016 versus $1.694M in 2015.
